In God’s “higher ways,” everything happens for a reason and will be woven into the fabric of God’s good plan for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). “THE POWER of GOD’S WORD”. The Law set the standard of holiness which God’s people were to uphold. They are to trust in God for His blessings, and to be the instrument of God in sharing these blessings with others. Then we cried to the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our affliction and our toil and our oppression; and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with great terror and with signs and wonders; and He has brought us to this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
